本模块的教学内容是谈论衣物。
第一单元的文情景是Sam和Amy参加学年末学校英语节的演出,两人在后台换衣服。他们选择了一些衣服,分别打扮成滑稽的小丑和美国西部牛仔。这时,Lingling通知他们马上就轮到他们上台演出了,两人在匆忙中准备上台。

语言知识:功能:谈论自己和他人拥有的物品,谈论交通工具及交通方式。语法:I’ve got … Have you got…? Yes , I have . No, I haven’t. He/ She goes to school by …. 词汇:have got, sweater, bed ,line, about, animal ,sport, haven’t (got) = have not (got) ,dress, coat, T-shirt, has got hasn’t (got) = has not (got) ,by ,bus, car. 听说:I’ve got … Have you got…? Yes , I have . No, I haven’t. He/ She goes to school by ….读写:have got, haven’t (got) = have not (got) by ,bus, car. 情感态度:在小组活动中与其他同学积极配合和合作。文化意识:在学校和日常交际中,能初步注意到中外文化的异同。任务:调查同学上学时采取的交通方式。

本单元的主要内容是谈论衣物, 大家对不同衣服的名称很感兴趣,乐于了解英语名称,在九模块中已经学习了一些衣物的名称,学生已有些基础。

1.Warmer
Revise the basic primary colors , red, yellow, blue , using colored pencils.
Play a TPR game and ask the students to listen and hold up the correct colored pencil as you call the colors out.
Then introduce other colors, e.g. green , orange, brown , using a color mix game.
Hold up blue and yellow pencils and ask the students to think about color it will be when they are mixed together.
Example:
T: what color is blue and yellow together?
Ss: brown.
T: No, it’s not brown.
Ss: green.
T: yes, that’s right, blue and yellow make green.
Repeat the activity with other color mixes.
Example :
Red and yellow = orange
Red and white = pink
1.Listen point and say.
Do more practice after listening to the tape. Write ‘sweater’ on the board and add ‘cap’, ‘T-shirt’ , ‘hat’, ‘trousers’, and ‘shoes’. Point to items in the classroom to demonstrate meanings. Ask the students to repeat the words.
Then ask the students to draw a picture of one of the items and colors.
Have the students identify their item of clothing.
Example :
S1: I’ve got a red cap.
S2: I’ve got a green sweater.
2.Listen ,point and find ‘here’s ’
After listening to the tape and practicing the dialogue , play a memory game to practice the vocabulary.
Write ‘Sam’ and ‘Amy’ on the board. Tell the students they have one minute to look at the pictures again.
Then ask the students to turn their books over and recall what the funny clothes Sam and Amy have got respectively.
The students may need prompts to recall the clothes.
Example:
T: I’ve got a brown hat.
Ss:Sam!
T: Yes .
4. Practice.
Have the students work in groups of four or five and reuse the pictures they prepared in Activity 1. ask the students to turn their pictures face down so that other students can’t see them . have the student choose an item of clothing and say it. Have other students check their pictures and pass any correct picture to the first student.
Homework.Greeting to teacher for the warming up.
Play a TPR game and ask the students to listen and hold up the correct colored pencil as you call the colors out.
