A
The new university hospital in Trenton, which the Health inister Victoria Culley has described as a “shining exaple” to hospitals all over the country, has been open now for over six onths. Having heard several coplientary (赞美的) coents about the organization and efficiency of the place, I decided to see for yself.
In spite of arriving early, I found that there were already long queues at the reception desks. While I was waiting, I looked around and had to adit that it is an ipressive building: large and light with arble everywhere. Eventually y turn cae and I presented y doctor’s letters to the receptionist, who infored e that I was in the X-ray queue and I’d have to go to another queue and start again! I couldn’t believe it and asked her if it ight be possible to give e an appointent card anyway without aking e queue up again. She infored e it was no good arguing with her and I should have read the sign, an alost invisible piece of card saying “X-rays” just in front of her where very few people can have seen it. No atter how hard I tried to persuade her, she wouldn’t give e an appointent card for a blood test, so I started queuing again and finally got the card at 8:30! I then set off for the blood test roo, following the nice new signs until they suddenly stopped and I realized that I was in a part of the hospital that hasn’t been finished yet! When I got to the door I saw a notice saying “Back in 10 inutes”. I sat down and waited for 30 inutes before a doctor appeared and told e to coe in without, of course, apologizing for keeping e waiting. I asked hi why I’d had to wait and he explained he’d had to help out in another ward which was understaffed as a result of a flu epideic (流感) aong the doctors!
I got out of the hospital at 9:45 a.. and breathed a sigh of relief. I’ now waiting for the results.
So, rs. Culley, a far fro rosy picture. Certainly the public should be under no illusions (错觉) that things have changed for the better. Perhaps you should visit the hospital as an anonyous outpatient (门诊病人) rather than a governent inister if you really want to know what it’s like unless, as I suspect, you don’t actually care about uch.

If there's a child in your house who likes pixies (精灵), nature, or agic, Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure is sure to be a hit. This beautifully aniated fil (动画片) is a first class production in every way, and features the failiar voices of Kristin Chenoweth, Anjelica Huston, Jane Horrocks, Lucy Liu, and Raven Syone. The ovie offers up an adventure that’s easy enough to follow, but coplex enough to hold one's attention, and even throws in a nice little oral about friendship. What can I say? I' pleasantly surprised.
The up-and-coing ae Whitan voices Tinker Bell herself, a far ore dynaic character than we et in Peter Pan. Though Tinker still possesses her fiery teper, it doesn't anifest itself iediately, and takes a backseat to this pixie's any good qualities. As it turns out, Tinker Bell is extreely skilled at tinkering(修补), so she is a natural choice to build a special scepter(拐杖), for Pixie Hollow's Autun Celebration. The scepter will hold the oonstone through which the light of the Blue oon will pass, supplying Pixie Hollow with enough pixie dust for the year ahead.
For days, Tinkers works hard on the perfect scepter design while her good friend Terrence does his best to assist. When Terrence accidentally breaks the oon Stone, Tinker Bell "explodes" and sends hi away. One of Tinker's ore literal friends finds this extreely concerning, as she doesn't quite understand that the outburst was eotional rather than physical ----- very funny indeed.
After hearing the legend of the lost treasure, Tinker Bell strikes out on her own to find a new oon Stone. She faces any difficulties and eets new friends along the way, but when Terrence coes to the rescue at Tinker's darkest hour, she realizes the value of a truly loyal friend. Though the fil is engaging and offers a positive essage to young viewers, it's the aniation that akes Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure stand out. Pixie Hollow is a charing, visually stunning world basked in lush colors. It's so lovely, so detailed, so three-diensional that you alost want to step inside.
60. Fro the first paragraph, we can learn that .
A. any faous actors act iportant roles in the fil

C. the writer feels surprised at the essage of friendship in the fil

A. occur B. hide C. display D. contradict
62. In the writer's opinion, the characteristics of Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure are the following EXCEPT .
A. the attractive details
B. the lively aniation characters
C. the three-diensional aniation
D. the oving love story between Tinker Bell and Terrence
63. The article picked fro a website is a(n) .
A. ovie poster B. ovie review
C. introduction to a book D. person introduction

Late last suer, I was introduced to a new special soeone. We et at an Apple product announceent. She was helpful, sart, and even funny, talking of jokes and aking e laugh. What ore could a an ask for?
Since then, we have had soe ajor counication issues. She frequently isunderstands what I’ saying. Soeties she is just unavailable. Often, she responds with the sae repetitive stateent. Her nae is Siri.
At first, Siri, the voice-activated digital assistant on Apple Iphones, seeed a little too good to be true. Siri cheated e into a relationship proising to help e set up appointents, to gently wake e in the orning for work, and to give e the ability to text soeone while I was driving.
It didn’t work out that way. “There’s soething wrong, and I can’t answer your questions right no Please try again in a little while,” Siri will say when I ask soething, or: “I’ really sorry about this, but I can’t take any requests right no Please try again in a little while.” She is always polite. But I’ starting to suspect that “I’ really sorry” is just soething Siri says to shut e up.
Apple introduced Siri as a beta test, eaning it was still a work in progress. That was unusual for Apple. It wanted a head start. But it doesn’t see ready to change anything yet. any people I have spoken to have switched Siri off and turned to the iPhone’s voice dictation service, which is ore reliable because it doesn’t use Siri’s artificial intelligence software.
Over tie, things have really gone bad between Siri and e. We hardly speak anyore. Although she doesn’t know this, I’ve started seeing soeone else. Her nae is Google Voice Search (GVS). GVS, available in the latest operating software, is a uch better listener. It’s absolutely sarter. If I ask GVS a question, like, “Who is Ti Cook?”, it responds with an answer “ He’s the chief executive of Apple”. If I ask Siri the sae question, the response is: “I don’t see Ti Cook in your contacts.”
68. How did the author feel when he first et Siri?
