Most students believe that there are many ways to do so. First of all, we can have more interactive activities in class, such as discussions, interviews, story-telling and role-play. In this way, we can have more fun learning English. Secondly, we can take part in more out-of-class activities like English speech contests and English evenings. Through these activities we can improve our English skills in an easy and relaxing way. Thirdly, we need to find more opportunities to communicate in English with people, whether they are English teachers or classmates, foreigners or Chinese, because using English is the best way to learn. These ideas sound reasonable and practical. From my experience, there are many other interesting and relaxing ways. For example, we can listen to English songs and watch English movies. We can also watch English programs on TV or join English clubs or make English pen-friends on the Internet. All in all, what we need is more free time and more space.听力稿Text 1W: Do you have anything special in mind?M: Oh, no. I am just looking. Thank you.Text 2W: Did you hear that noise last night, Mr. Jones? It woke me up at least twice.M: I’m terribly sorry. My little boy was playing ball and we had a hard time putting him to bed.Text 3W: Do you want to go to a movie, George?M: Good idea! Let’s go to Town Cinema. It has the biggest screens.W: But it’s the most expensive. What about going to Moonlight Cinema? It has the most comfortable seats and the best service.M: OK.Text 4W: What a lovely cat you have! Did you buy it?M: No, my aunt gave it to me for my birthday.W: Oh, I haven’t seen such a lovely one since I lost my cat.Text 5M: Hello, Jane?W: Yes. Where are you now, Mike?M: Just downstairs, ready to pick you up for the theatre.W: I’ll come down right away. See you in a minute.Text 6M: Well, I’ll see you later, Mrs. Todd. My wife is waiting for me to take her shopping.W: I understand. There’s a lot to get done on the weekends, especially when you two work and the children are small.M: That’s right. Jane and I have been talking about visiting you since we moved in. So when I saw you in the garden, I decided to come over to say hello.W: I’m glad you did. In fact, I should have visited you first, since you are the new neighbors.M: By the way, do you need anything from the store?W: No, thanks, but I appreciate the offer. And thank you for coming over.M: It’s been a pleasure.Text 7W: Hi, Jack! Come and have lunch with me! I’m really hungry today.M: Hi, Katie! So am I. I have a big breakfast every morning but I still eat a lot at lunchtime. What about you, what do you usually have for breakfast?W: Nothing much. I always get a cake or something on my way to school so I don’t feel hungry during lessons.M: And then you have chips or pizza for lunch?W: Yes, nearly every day. I like them.M: They’re not very good for you, are they? I try to eat a lot of salad. It’s healthy. And I drink lots of water. It’s better for you than juice.W: I don’t like salad very much, and I think tea and coffee taste horrible. I prefer cola or lemonade.M: I bet you like chocolate as well, don’t you? I love chocolate.W: Mmm, I love it, too, and sweets and biscuits. But I don’t like ice cream very much. It makes my teeth too cold!Text 8About two years ago, I went with my class on our first school trip─five days in Paris! There were about thirty of us and four teachers. We all went in one big coach from our school in London. The teachers told us to be at school at four thirty in the morning. Everyone was there on time, but the coach didn’t leave until five thirty! We had some sandwiches and drinks with us so we went straight to Paris without stopping. The trip cost $ 240 and we wanted to save money, so we didn’t stop at any roadside cafes. It only took us eight hours to reach Paris. The name of the hotel in Paris was the Hotel Berri─that’s B-E-R-R-I. I shared a room with three other girls. When we went shopping I tried to practice my French. The shops were great─I bought lots of presents, even a T-shirt for my little sister.I think what I most enjoyed was the river trip. I took lots of photos of my friends and the wonderful art galleries.I was sad to leave Paris at 1:00 p.m. I had a lovely time there. We came home by coach and this time the journey was much shorter─we arrived back half an hour earlier!天津市五区县2013届高三上学期期末考试(英语)扫描版
