　　1.debate about /on/upon sh争论某事
　　Debate sth with sb 与某人争某事
　　eg.I debated the idea in my mind until I fell asleep.
　　我入睡前一直在思考这个问题。
　　They were debating whether to go to the mountain or to the seaside.
　　他们正在争论是去山上还是去海边。
　　After a long debate the bill was passed in congress.
　　经过长时间的辩论后，议案在国会通过了。
